HAJI ABDI IS AN ELATED PERSON AFTER managing to score a C- Minus in his KCSE Examinations 2020.
The middle aged man from Mandera County and who has two wives and 13 children confirmed his results with a local news media on Tuesday May 10. He managed to score 38 points in an exam which was conducted at Banissa Private School in the area.
“Nimefurahia kwa sababu nilikosa kwenda secondary school kwa sababu ya kukosa pesa. Nilianza biashara ya bookshop mwaka wa 2013. Nikiwa nyumbani na kwa bookshop yangu, nilikuwa nikisoma. Usiku, nilikuwa na tafuta walimu, wananifunza na kunisaidia na ninawapatia kitu kidogo. Nikaamua kuregister mtihani 2020 na nikafanya 2021. Nilitarajia kupata C+ lakini nimeridhika na ile nilipata. Ninapanga kufanya Diploma in Business Administration. Age is just a number. Hakuna age itakuzuia kusoma shuleni,” he wrote.
After these results, his next plan in to delve into the mucky waters of politics by first vying for the Member of County Assembly seat of Wargadud Ward.
