Friday, October 22, 2021 –Rashid Echesa’s friend Rajab Munyendo has been accused of touching a top cop’s girlfriend in a club on Thursday evening.

The indecent move by Echesa’s friend resulted in a bar brawl between the police Officer Commanding Station OCS and Mr. Rajab Munyendo both who were drinking at a local joint Club-Jos Lounge  within Mumias Subcounty.

A report from the area police in Mumias stated that Mr. Munyendo approached the lady who was being entertained by the police boyfriend what resulted in the long drama.

“It happened that he touched a lady who was in the company of an OCS and as a result, a confrontation ensued between the complainant and the officer,” the report read in part.

Mr. Munyendo who was with former Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa accused the OCS of damaging his Marcedez Benz car.

“He destroyed my front windscreen, and right and left side mirrors,” Echesa’s friend Munyendo complained.

He also claimed to have lost a whopping sh 77,000 during the scuffle that Echesa has distanced himself from.

“It doesn’t concern me. That was a battle between two intoxicated people. I was not involved. How does their issue concern me,” Echesa told media.

Police have since collected statements from eyewitnesses.
