Wednesday, January 27, 2021 -Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga’s supporters engaged with Ruto supporters at Githurai where Odinga had gone for the BBI popularization tour.
The Star reported how there was heavy police presence at the venue to clear way for Mr. Odinga whose huge supporters were also charging up.
The Hustler youth resorted to pelting stones at Odinga’s convoy while chanting Ruto and Hustler slogans. This according to the publication was happening 50 meters way from where the opposition chief was addressing his supporters.
Police had to lob teargas at the Hustler goons in a cat and mouse game that lasted for 15 minutes.
