Gachagua, who is the patron of the school, told the teaching staff that the retreat was aimed at transforming his former school so that to make it a center of excellence and a best performer.

“I am encouraged that my old school will soon be on the Kenyan map,” Deputy President Gachagua said.

To reinforce the concern, Gachagua announced that they had signed a binding Memorandum of Understanding MoU with the teachers so that the alumni side could start supporting the hardware aspect of things at the school.

“We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the teachers that the Alumni will handle the hardware (infrastructural development) while the teachers will take charge of the software (performance),” he confirmed.

On the same note, teachers and support staff will have to make sure the learners at the institution are taken care of well and supplied with the software required to enhance academic standards at the school.

The second in command, emphasized his resolve to do what it could take to make sure the school achieves its current and future academic and infrastructural goals.

Gachagua took classes at the Nyeri-based school for six years where he competed his O-Level to A-level studies.

“When I came here for my homecoming as a Depuy President, I looked at the school and the facilities and I felt a bit down. My heart was also broken when I looked at the performance,” he reminisced.
