Sunday, October 6, 2024 -Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has swallowed a humble pie in search for forgiveness.
Speaking at a church service held in Karen residence today Sunday October 6, the second in command asked his boss William Ruto to consider forgiveness ahead of looming impeachment.
Gachagua, who was accompanied by wife Dorcas, while reflecting on their joint leadership with Ruto and the challenges they have faced together in politics, maintained that his quest for forgiveness was based on a need to reconcile following reports of a political tiff with his boss.
“I want to ask my brother Ruto that If I have wronged him in any way, please find it in your heart to forgive me,” he stated.
The embattled DP was speaking this just kilometers away from where his boss William Ruto was attending a church service.
Ruto and his spouse Rachel Ruto were at a Milimani church in the morning.
