Tuesday, February 14, 2023 –Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has employed in his office a lady who was assaulted at the peak of Ruguru Ward by-election in Nyeri in April 2018.
The lady assaulted five years ago has found a job at the deputy president’s office and will run the digital department as the director of Digital and Innovations Deputy President’s office.
Martha JM Miano – from Mathira – shared the details on Monday February 13 saying she was finally happy to start her new role at the DP Gachagua’s office
“Let us continue with our dedication here at Harambee Annex, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s office,” the Mathira-based blogger Ms Miano revealed in her statement accompanied by photos of her new working room at the Harambee Annex.
Miano – a Mt Kenya University graduate – made this update confirming that she will now be based in Nairobi for the noble duty.
Our checks and scrutiny established that she is a graduate with Mt Kenya University and holds a Barchelor of Arts Degree in Mass Media and Communication.
Her rise to stardom happened in 2018 after being slapped by the then Mathira Member of Parliament MP Rigathi Gachagua’s driver and three other people while working as an election observer.
Social media would quickly pick up these scenes which circulated around the country like bush fire.
