Gachagua Expects Other People to go to Court and to Demonstrate as he Parrots in Church

Few days ago, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua raised an alarm that the Bomas of Kenya and all prisons land had been grabbed away by powerful men in this administration.

Gachagua, in a blow-by-blow account, explained how he, unsuccessfully, tried as much to stop the Cabinet from selling the Bomas because it’s part of the national heritage. But this finally saw his boss get angrier with him in the government they served.

He claimed that this is part of the reasons that saw Ruto plan and plot to impeach him to bring on board the ‘soft Kithure Kindiki’ who can be twisted in any direction.

But even as we try to take Gachagua serious, one question we could ask him is, what has he done so far to help us stop the fraud and the entire process of selling both the Bomas and the prisons land?

Gachagua has money and means, he cannot just be parroting 24/7 like the rest of us who don’t have means.

Gachagua can pay lawyers millions to help stop such illicit processes. He can organize countrywide protests to help stop Ruto from selling public facilities. So why would he be crying in churches every Sunday when he can do better. When he can mount a serious campaign against all these ills.

And it’s because of these reason and many more that makes some of us suspect him as a fraud. A person who has no interest of the country at heart.

He believes his only work is to talk, while Raila, Gen Zs and the rest of the country should be the ones to go to court to sue Ruto as well as demonstrate on the streets.

Mr. Gachagua has never been a serious politician. If he could use millions of money to fight a losing battle against his impeachment, why can’t he also use some more millions to file a court case against Ruto and his Government?
