Saturday, April 1, 2023 Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has reacted to the rumours about his fallout with Interior Cabinet Secretary, Prof. Kithure Kindiki.

Speaking in Malava Kakamega County today Saturday April 1 afternoon, Gachagua though accepted that he had heard the propaganda about his fallout with the security CS, said nothing could be further from the truth.

He explained that when he recently met all top security agents on Sunday, March 26 in his Nairobi office when the president was out of the country, Kindiki was in North Rift checking on security status in the bandit-prone region.

“I had a meeting on Sunday with our security chiefs, and Kindiki was missing as he had gone to deal with bandits. This media started saying that there was a problem,” he stated in Malava today.

Moreover, the DP clarified that he has had a smooth working relationship with both Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi as well as other cabinet secretaries in their Kenya Kwanza government.

“These are all Azimio people. This media belongs to Azimio by living in denial.

“The media think that our government can have cracks. They are also behind the narrative that I have differences with Mudavadi.

“Mudavadi and I have come a long way. I have eaten food in his house and spent nights there as I worked as the personal assistant of former President Uhuru Kenyatta,” the DP added.
