Tuesday, March 21, 2023 –Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has continued accusing the Kenyatta family for funding the ongoing opposition protests.
Addressing somewhere in Nairobi today Tuesday March 21, the visibly tired Gachagua asked the former head of State to retire in peace instead of meddling in national affairs through the opposition.
He wondered why the Kenyatta family continued to mess up the country despite the fact that the current regime had seemingly let him have his peace after office.
“How ungrateful can you be? You have messed the economy of this country for long and you are still coming for the little that is remaining,” he posed.
The DP went ahead to urge Mr. Kenyatta to look for the Azimio La Umoja leader, Raila Odinga, and persuade him to stop destructive demonstrations so that the current government can concentrate on working for Kenyans.
He took issue with Uhuru and his brother Muhoho for orchestrating chaos through the Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party boss, Raila Odinga.
Through yesterday’s mass action that was staged in Nairobi city, police now claim 13 police officerrs were wounded as one fire arm got lost.
The Daily Nation reported that majority of the officers injured were attacked on Outering Road where protesters had barricaded the road with stones and burning tyres.
Embakasi police boss, James Makau, alongside several of his officers were injured in the ugly running battles.
Raila Odinga’s ongoing mass action was on Sunday March 19 flagged as illegal by Nairobi Police Commander Adamson Bungei.
