Gachagua’s Friend Admits the Former DP is too Tribal. See What she Said on Live Tv

Githunguri lawmaker Gathoni Wamuchomba has asked sacked Deputy President to stop speaking about Mt. Kenya alone if he wants to be taken serious by other communities.

She said, she has had that conversation with the former Deputy president with an aim of wanting to change the public perception about Gachagua but he has not yet empressed the change.

“He needs to be seen to be more accommodating to other communities. The same energy he has been using to fight for the mountain, he needs to use to advocate for people who are evicted in other areas and the forgotten communities of this country. If he really is a national leader, we need to see him fighting for other Kenyans,” she stated.

Ms Wamuchomba, further, noted that her advice may or may not be taken by the former DP but what is important is that she has, at least, told him the facts as they are.

“He doesn’t have to necessarily agree with me, but if it’s a fact, it is a fact. Rigathi needs to realise that he has the mountain with him; he does not have to talk and punch again about the mountain,” she stated.

“He must also dissociate himself from his campaigns with the mountain connotation because he has fought for the mountain enough,” she said.

The vocal MP was speaking this during an interview with NTV on Monday, March 24.

MP Wamuchomba, is a close ally of the former DP and she was on the fore front to protest his impeachment.
