Tuesday, August 17, 2021 -Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has cautioned his partners in One Kenya Alliance OKA against undermining Raila Odinga in next polls.
In his latest statement through KANU Secretary General Nick Salat, Chairman Gideon said it will be hard to take next government should they not consider Odinga as the best person to fly their flag. He reasoned that Odinga apart from his popularity also has enough capacity to take-on William Ruto.
He also argued that ODM as a party has a strong solid of supporters spread across the country and who can make work alot easier to win elections in round one.
“Everybody is insisting on a presidential candidate but it is important for people to sit down and make one viable choice that will hand them a win,” Salat said in their statement.
He was saying this on Monday August 17 amid rising disagreements in their One Kenya Alliance OKA which is yet to name their flagbearer.
One Kenya Alliance comprises Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi, former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka(Wiper), Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula, and KANU Chairman Gideon Moi.
Just like COTU Secretary Francis Atwoli warned Musalia against underrating Mr. Odinga, Gideon Moi has also joined the fray and cautioned both Kalonzo and Mudavadi against experimenting with the forthcoming elections.
