Tuesday, August 23, 2022 –Whistleblower John Mark Githongo has moved to court to challenge the outcome of the general election held on Tuesday August 9.

In a detailed affidavit he has prepared to the Supreme Court, the Chief Executive Officer of the Inuka Kenya ni Sisi organization, argues that the presidential results putting William Ruto ahead of Raila Odinga was a complete fraud cooked by a total of 56 individuals purposely hired to infiltrate IEBC systems and forge figures.

In the Monday August 22 petition now at the Supreme Court; as seen by Homenews.co.ke, Mr. Githongo has enlisted President-elect William Ruto as the ninth respondent.

He claims to have compelling evidence from an anonymous whistleblower to prove that the election was bungled in favour of one candidate who was working hand-in-hand  with some unscrupulous IEBC officials.

Githongo revealed that on August 18, he met a young man in Nairobi who opened up on what he had seen happen at the IEBC.

“On August 18, I was introduced to a young man in Nairobi who said he had “a matter of national importance he wished to discuss.”

The young man was visibly terrified and tense and went on to open up on the truth surrounding the controversial election exercise that saw the 9th respondent announced as the winner.

“He revealed to me utterly shocking details of how he together with others, were involved in a large scale, well-orchestrated fraudulent scheme that enabled them to interfere and compromise with the IEBC electoral data transmission system,” read part of the petition.

The young man, as part of 10 well-paid supervisors, confirmed to have been a member of the network; a group of 56 individuals assembled to cheat in the election by any means possible.

He divulged that the remaining 46 were given user accounts to access IEBC servers and change figures without touching on the total votes cast.

They would obtain Form 34As from the KIEMS Kits, do the editing before finally uploading them to the public IEBC portal.

Githongo added that the team’s ICT experts had access to full IEBC’s back-end servers, which were working in tandem with the controversial Smartmatic company staff.

Githongo has also affirmed that he has a video recording which he will avail in the court at the most appropriate time and which will show the world how, not only, the presidential election, but also many other elective seats were tampered with in favour of a certain political figure in the country.
