Tuesday, June 28, 2022 –Teachers Service Commission TSC has again announced more positions for trained teachers in the country.
The official teachers’ employer is absorbing a whopping 5,000 new staff and another 8,230 replacements countrywide.
In this lot advertised on Monday June 27 by the Nancy Macharia-led commission, 3,972 of the recruited teachers will be posted to different secondary schools to assist in the 100 per cent transition policy which was initiated by President Uhuru Kenyatta as 1,000 teachers head to primary institutions.
Furthermore, 28 tutors will be spread to various teachers training colleges under what has been described as pensionable and permanent scheme.
Homenews.co.ke also learnt that North Eastern Counties will benefit with 1,000 teachers during this deployment exercise.
“To qualify for recruitment, a candidate should be a Kenyan citizen, be hailing from Garissa, Mandera or Wajir Counties, be teaching under Board of Management in Garissa, Mandera or Wajir Counties,” partly read the notice.
Those who intent to apply will have to do it online as TSC will not be taking paper or hard-copy applications as has been before.
Willing applicants, further, must make sure they fill all the required fields before pressing the submit button in the TSC portal. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
