Throwing the spanner in the works, the Appeal Court, weeks ago, upheld the High Court decision barring the State against collecting the housing levy from employees and employers.

This decision saw President William Ruto accuse the courts together with the opposition of scheming to detail his agenda.

He, therefore, through a series of rallies, promised to soldier on with the housing project saying, a few corrupt judges will not be allowed to interfere with lives of over 47 million Kenyans.

Dr. Ruto defended further that, through the housing project, thousands of jobless youths were going to benefit by getting employed in the construction sites.

Some, he said, will be offered material supplies contracts worth millions.
