Government now Funding Mungiki – Gachagua

Chrispen

Impeached Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has sensationally claimed that the government has revived Mungiki sect.

Addressing on Saturday December 6, the politician accused President William Ruto of reviving the outlawed Mungiki through its leader Maina Njenga to deal with dessenting voices.
The former DO added that, it took the former Interior Minister John Michuki a staggering 4 year period to wipe out Mungiki and now the new government is hellbent on funding the secret back in Central Region for political reasons.
“The good gesture would have been for the president to ask himself why he is being rejected. Not to use outlawed sect to force us to support his failing regime,” Gachagua announced.
The ex-DP said, this government has lost numbers for “mismanaging the economy, security, has become unpopular and everybody is saying no to every policy”.
Gachagua also said, Mt. Kenya is now threatened by the sect members who have already activated illegal activities around the region.
Among the activities he mentioned include collection of taxes, thuggery peddling drugs etc.
The former DP was reacting just days after former Mungiki leader, Maina Njenga, joined the government and promised to face off with Gachagua.
