On his part, Papa Jones or Khalighraph Jones has been vocal on the issue of resumption of concerts saying with politicians already holding public rallies, it was unfair for government to punish artists who rely on performances for their survival.
The huge crowds at the venue proved how much Kenyans have been missing outdoor events since March 13 when the first Covid-19 case landed in the country.
Governor Joho, after welcoming Kenyans to the event, had a chance to also perform his favourite hit song ‘Katrina’ amid cheers from his supporters.
Mama Ngina Water Front Park which sits on a 26-acre land was recently facelifted at the cost of sh 400 million National Government money.
The park has a sitting capacity of 3000 people and it overlooks the Kilindini Channel. Watch video courtesy-
