Saturday, January 15, 2022 –Makueni County Governor Kivutha Kibwana has undergone a surgery at Makueni County Referral Hospital, today.
The county boss released the statement on Saturday Januray 15 saying he was recuperating after the minor surgery.
Photos seen by Homenesw.co.ke showed the county chief resting on a hospital bed with his doctors working on him.
What was not clarified was the exact ailment he is suffering from but thanked those who have been on his side throughout the process.
“Undergoing a minor surgical procedure under Jacob Kengere Ombogo and Dr. Patrick Musyoki.
“Thank you our healthcare workers for the dedicated health services offered to our residents,” Kibwana posted on his social media accounts.
Kenyans quickly thronged his comments section with quick recovery messages where a larger section shocked on why he had decided to seek treatment locally unlike his colleagues who must fly out anytime they fall sick.
“Wishing you a successful procedure and it’s great to see your confidence in your County hospitals,” first user commented.
On his part, a social media user by the name William K. Eliphas said it was a good gesture for the leader to add confidence to residents on believing in local treatment.
