Sunday, August 15, 2021 -Vocal Machakos County Government Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua has reacted to claims his wife Lilian Ng’ang’a has left.
This is after Ms Ng’ang’a first took to her Instagram account to make this announcement public saying time for change was inevitable despite the pain and that she will nolonger wear the cap of the Machakos County First lady.
“The only constant in life is change and we must be present and aware to appreciate and embrace it,” she said in a statement as quoted by Dundapos.com.
“Winds of change blew my way and two months ago, I decided to end the long term relationship with Dr Alfred Mutua. We had a good run and I am forever grateful to God he brought us together. We remain friends,” she posted.
Few hours later, Dr. Mutua also took to his Facebook with a similar statement confirming they had parted ways amicably.
“Lillian has been an excellent First Lady and even though she will do some projects under the Lillian Ng’ang’a foundation, we have agreed she can continue with her county projects.
She will be a close advisor as I Govern Machakos County and run for President because I trust her sharp insight and heart. She has always been my number one fan. Our love for each other is permanent but I think at times, space and new directions are important,” Dr. Mutua noted in hsi long statement.
Though the two have remained tight lipped on the main cause of their separation, close sources claim this could have been caused by an increasing lack of trust between the duo.
