Friday, November 11, 2022 –Newly-elected Machakos County Governor, Wavinya Ndeti, has send apologies to Kenyans who pointed out her latest poor fashion style.
The vocal governor who later learnt how social media was awash with her memes after she had a poorly dressed day birthday event, came back on the social platform with a brief-and-to-the-point statement in which she apologized for the mal-wardrobe.
Her Friday statement promised that she will never again go wrong with her sense of fashion but asked every supporter to also understand that her mind is now more focused on service delivery; what sometimes may lead to this wardrobe confusion.
“Lakini nyinyi wakenya, enyewe mmeniweza. One thing I now know is that you love me for being smart. Sitadissapoint tena. Nowadays I care more about your needs. Love you guys,” she tweeted.
Some users had joked that she had employed the tailor who was ‘recently sacked’ by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who has since improved his sense of fashion.
