Sunday, May 1, 2022 –Bongo singer Harmonize born Rajab Abdul Kahali who recently parted ways with his longtime boss Diamond Platinumz over respect and integrity issues was on Sunday May 1 arrested by Kileleshwa Police over performance related issues.

In a video which comedian Erick Omondi who was the Master of Ceremony MC in a series of events both in Nairobi and Mombasa, Hermonize was paid upfront to perform but he chose to snub all the events.

Omondi alleged that the Bongo star had conned several promoters a lot of cash in the guise of going to perform but instead decided to lock himself in a hotel room with plans to sneak out of the country in the morning.

The bongo singer who was under immense pressure to refund all the amounts he had received from victims is also said to have assaulted Erick infront of OCPD Kileleshwa Police Station.

“Harmonize has punched me in front of Kileleshwa OCPD, Kokoriko and Mike Sonko. He punched my face in front of Mike Mbuvi Sonko, it was inside a police station. I am bleeding,” he said while showing the bleeding lip injuries.

Comedian Erick is now accusing the Aiyola hit maker of receiving money by false pretense from Kenyan promoters and planning to fly away with it.

“I gave him money and he refused to perform, so we told him to return the money. I told him there is no need to fight…’I have given you money and you have been arrested. I do not want to embarrass you, let’s go to Mombasa and do a show because you have been paid. Yesterday you refused to go to Kokoriko, Yesterday you caused problems at Captain and I covered you,’ and still while talking, he punched me in the mouth,” he added.

And while responding to Erick’s claims after leaving the police, Harmonize defended his actions saying he was only called to ‘meet and greet’ the people; and not to perform as it was being peddled by Erick Omondi.
