Tuesday, July 6, 2021 -A Kenya Medical Training College student Emily Chepkemoi was murdered by a boyfriend over love related issues. Details emerge.
The 23 year old student in Homabay institution got lost last Friday June 2 and her body later recovered on Monday evening. The body was already decomposing.
A witness revealed that the student’s lifeless body was found inside her rental unit in Oriang Estate Homabay town.
“I saw her on Friday afternoon as she walked into the compound. Since then, I have never seen her until her body was found inside the house,” said Malvin Otieno, a local.
This was after a mysterious smell started coming from the house and when they forced it open, they found the body with knife wounds.
Area assistant Chief Duncan Ochieng told K24 that Chepkemoi’s body had several stab wounds and that this could have been caused by a love gone sour.
“The boyfriend who is believed to have gone into hiding is being pursued by the police,” revealed Okech.
Friends, colleagues and relatives continued to mourn her remembering her as a friendly person.
“Let justice be served to Emily Chepkemoi who was murdered in her house in Homabay. She was a student at Homabay KMTC,” Ochieng Geoffrey said,
Deaths cases due to love triangle have been on an increase in colleges. Just last month on June 2nd, a 3rd year student Makrine Wainaina from Masinde Muliro University MMUST in Kakamega was found murdered and her body dumped outside her house in Kefinco Estate.
