Sunday, October 13, 2024 –Governor Anne Waiguru has resurfaced with cryptic posts on her social media.

Waiguru, who is touted as among top Mt. Kenya Region politicians to succeed embattled Deputy President Rigathi Gachagau, has shared a Bible message to hint at her next government appointment.

In the post seen by Kenyawide.com on Sunday October 13 morning, the former Devolution Minister is talking about plans God has for her.

She goes ahead to mention prosperity and plans not to harm those who believe in the name of Jesus Christ.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11 As we step into a new week, may God’s wisdom strengthen us to move forward with hope and determination. Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday”.

The politician now serving as governor her second term Kirinyaga County, is among those being fronted to take over the role of deputy president.

Anne Waiguru, Ndindi Nyoro(MP Kiharu), Kithure Kindiki(CS Interior), Musalia Mudavadi(Prime CS) and Kalonzo Musyoka(Wiper Party Leader) have been adversely mentioned in the shortlist for DP position.

Gachagua is set to be pushed out of government next week through an impeachment that sailed through in Parliament and set to be heard by the Senate this week where his fate will be sealed.

He has, however, vowed to soldier on upto the Supreme Court where he has hopes of surviving the onslaught.

Already, his petitions have seen him secure a chance to be heard by a three-judge bench which is supposed to be constituted by Chief Justice Martha Koome.
