How Chebukati Helped Hackers to Mess the Election

Friday, August 26, 2022 –Azimio la Umoja petition now puts 21 individuals at the center of the electoral fraud that has seen them(Azimio) go to the Supreme Court to challenge William Ruto’s recent victory.

These 21 individuals started planning on how to rig out Raila Odinga in March, way before the election materials even arrived in the country.

In the law suit filed at the Supreme Court, petitioners Raila Odinga and Martha Karua detail a shocking network of hackers who were aided to complete their dirty schemes by the IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati.

“There was an elaborate and fraudulent premeditated scheme to interfere with and undermine and defeat the integrity, credibility and security of the presidential election. The interference was intended to alter the true results of the presidential election.
“Mr Chebukati was personally continuously deleting and uploading different result declaration forms—Form 34A, 34B and 34C—even after the declaration of the final ‘outcome’ on August 15, 2022, as shown by the use of his credentials in the logs of the IEBC portal,” Ms Karua alleged citing 12 major electoral fraud directly touching on Chebukati.

This complicated interference resulted in the manipulation and alteration of voter turnout and KIEMS kit data on the Election Day and the subsequent declaration of the president-elect.

In another story published by Nation.Africa, Ms Karua – a lawyer by profession – mentioned how unattended laptop was discovered at the Bomas auditorium of the National Tallying Center and which belonged to UDA Party agent Mr. Koech Geoffrey Kipngosos.

This gadget, was perfectly connected to an external network where important Forms 34As were temporarily stored, downloaded and then re-uploaded to the IEBC official portal to hoodwink the public that IEBC was open for public scrutiny.

“Evidence obtained from the forensic communication analysis of the electronic devices seized from the three Venezuelans reveals serious and alarming facts that would later be manifest in the disputed electoral process, system and conduct of the elections,” the court papers indicate.

Karua further affirmed that the report they have since obtained from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation DCI, shows that the arrested gadgets had a user who was able to directly log into the IEBC local IP address using any remote desktop tools and do anything at will.

From these prayers, Raila and Karua believe there is every reason for the court to nullify the victory of William Ruto and charge Chebukati for the malpractices which they termed as major.
