Kakamega County Senator Boni Khalwale has exposed a ring of leaders led by axed Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for crashing down the ruling Party UDA.
Addressing a series of questions from journalists yesterday Friday, Khalwale claimed that UDA is more a going concern because Gachagua funded a group of drunk youth led by Cleophas Malala to run down the party.
He reported that Malala, by virtue of being the Sec Gen. received millions from Gachagua to mess the party especially in Western Region.
“Gachagua put money in the pockets of young rogue politicians led by Malala. This group of Malala, which spends most of its time chewing mirror and hopping from one night club to the next, then brought down UDA Party, which was doing so well at the grassroots,” Khalwale reported.
Khalwale, therefore, indicated that, unless the party is refreshed up again, it is going to be extremely difficult to use it for the 2027 contest.
