Thursday, December 30, 2021 –Fallen Congolese maestro General Defao was scheduled to perform in a private concert. It has been revealed by close sources.
The late 62 year old Sala Noki hitmaker was seized by uneasiness in his room before he was subjected to urgent medical attention which he didn’t respond well.
Following his untimely death, fellow big shots in the music industry from across the globe started sending in their heartfelt condolences. Among the names which first send their messages to the bereaved family are Fally Ipupa, Barbara Kanam, and Ferre Gola all who expressed their sadness at the desolate of the great singer of all times.
The team described Defao as a seasoned artiste who will be missed not only in Africa but around the world.
Defao is a renowned Congolese singer, composer and songwriter born Lulendo Matumona in Kinshasa on December 31, 1958.
He died while at Laquintine Hospital in Douala Cameroon where he had been admitted.
