Tuesday, December 20, 2022 –December and Christmas Holiday comes with neck-breaking celebrations and, as a result, so many people end up spending their hard-earned cash to unnecessary things.
To spend without pressing your pocket too much this holiday season, you need to do this within your earnings but remember to also put aside some savings. The insurance to your next health and meal depends alot on how much you are saving every day. Savings is just denying yourself good things today so that you can have them when you nolonger have energy to work.
Additionally, as you spend, make sure you also project your next day’s needs which may include your children’s school/ college fees.
It is always good to factor in life challenges starting from medical issues that you or one of your family members could be having. Budgeting requires all these aspects of life to be listed ready so that not to run out of plan and money when you need it most.
It will also be better if you decided to buy foodstuffs in wholesale. Buying retail or one item after another is illogically expensive. Tomatoes and onions bought in a pack is economically better than buying one piece in the morning and coming for another in the evening.
Economist also advise that, spend money without getting excited on the normal supremacy holiday showoffs. So as you showcase your pocket power in a local bar, make sure you do it within your means. Do not be swayed to buy a bottle of Glenfiddich when you have no such capacity. Let those who can stretch that far do it for you. Even fingers have never been of the same size.
Lastly, do not mix with friends who think spending is a class of its own. That cannot be a reason enough to risk your money that otherwise could have paid your next medical bills or children’s college fees.
