Ugandan NUP Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi is giving President Yoweri Museveni a run for his money.
Despite teargas canisters being lobbed into his and supporters cars, the young presidential candidate still manages to wade through all the difficulties to go on with his jam packed campaigns.
On Monday evening, Bobi Wine staged another thunderous show at Iganga area where thousands of his supporters braved the harsh resistance from police to cheer him up.
His support base majorly comprises the young, vibrant and and ‘radicalized’ youths from the ghetto who are ready to ‘force’ change in their country.
Bobi is upbeat that he will win the next general election race if rigging will not be there, and not once, has he claimed that he was the best man to dislodge long serving Museveni from power.
“Thank you Iganga for braving the intimidation, the beatings, the harassment, the teargas, the bullets & coming in large numbers to show the whole world that you’re ready to remove the dictator with us. Please do the same come voting day. Next stop; Bugiri,” he stated.
Last Sunday afternoon, Mr. Wine was nearly killed on a road trip campaign in Mbale after attending a church service earlier that day.
This happened after bullets and tear gas were directly fired into his car, it was a shocking incidence though his security tactfully saved him from the attack. He termed the it ‘very painful’.
