Thursday, July 21, 2022 –Singer Kevin Bahati Kioko now says if he wanted a job, he would have joined the Jubilee administration in 2013/17 when he was so close to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He has therefore faulted Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna for reducing him to a job seeker when this should not be the case.
Bahati who was appearing on TV 47 on Tuesday night July 20 with Dr. Ofweneke added that it was quite unfair that until today some people like Edwin Sifuna look at his body size and think he is a helpless youth who still needs to enticed with job sympathy.
“You understand I am making this decision at my peak. I am the second in the country to get a Silver Golden button from Youtube with now a million plus subscribers. I have endorsed like everything. Sijaenda politics juu ya shida kutafuta kiti ya Mathare. I have something already.
“I am sorry, the time ya kunipea job ilipita. I have a job and the most paid musician in the country so far. So Sifuna should be told I am not jobless and he can take that job because I can see he is so desperate for one,” he added.
The Wanani hitmaker also said he was the first person to endorse Raila Odinga without any pay and until today he still believes Mr. Odinga should succeed Mr. Kenyatta from next month.
