I am smarter and can’t pick a war with Uhuru this early- Ruto

I will not be triggered to start hurling insults at the president. Deputy President William Ruto has said.

The DP has alleged that the so called the Deep State was hell-bent on pushing him harder so that he could launch an onslaught against his boss but says he is too smart to fall for such small but dangerous traps this early.

Ruto further said he is a learned man who cannot be roped into unnecessary traps well knowing what they have laid ahead for him.

The second in Command who was speaking this on a live media interview noted that some ill forces were provoking him every time so that he can lose cool and do the unthinkable what he is not ready for now.

He observed that picking a war with the head of State may render him vulnerable to total destruction and he may be finished completely.

“There are people who want me to start attacking the President or rocking the boat from within so that their narrative can be complete,” he said.

“I know the danger of doing this as I’m committed to supporting the President fulfil the Jubilee manifesto,” added Ruto.

Though alot of bad things are going on in government which he helped form, he still considers his relationship with Mr. Kenyatta as cordial and important for the stability of this nation.

The DP, without mentioning names, blamed all the mess being witnessed in the ruling party to his detractors who were out to make sure his political ambitions are stopped by all means.

He however warned that as a man he was not going to be intimidated to surrender and asked all those who are opposed to his ambitions to come up with an alternative force that will be facing him in 2022.

Ruto added that he was more than ready to take-on anyone interested in the presidential race so that the winner can carry the day on level ground.

Though Ruto has continued to mention the Deep State in reference to those people surrounding the Head of State, Murathe, Atwoli and Mr. Odinga recently reminded him that he was part of the administration in power and therefore if there was anything going by that name of the Deep State then it comprised the president and his deputy as its key leaders.
