Monday, May 16, 2022 –Former Gatanga Member of Parliament Peter Kenneth has promised to support the Raila-Odinga –Karua ticket ahead of August general elections.
Addressing at the Kenyatta International Convention Center KICC Nairobi today Monday May 16, Kenneth noted that he was in complete acceptance of the outcome of the running mate selection despite having lost to Narc-Kenya Party leader, Martha Karua.
“I support it 100%. I will continue playing in the team and with Karua to deliver victory on August 9,” he affirmed.
On his part, Mr Odinga explained that Karua was the best person for him and that her leadership will be felt among women of this nation.
Odinga further noted that, with Ms Karua, the country will be in the safe pair of hands and that this will help eradicate run away corruption and increased crime in the country.
And while speaking, Ms Karua thanked Odinga for having faith in her leadership and promised to help him run a respected administration.
“It is a journey for and with the people of Kenya. It is a story of those who have had the courage to soldier on even against all the odds,” Karua stated.
She also thanked the running mate selection panel saying they had done a remarkable job by raising standards for future presidential campaigns.
