Thursday, July 22, 2021 -As he continues to sell his Hustler Nation narrative, Deputy President William Ruto has showed his confidence in clinching the presidency in 2022.
Yesterday during his many political engagements he held in Machakos County, the second in command recalled what he told both his boss Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. He stated that he once warned them that the Hustler Nation was becoming tougher by day but they ignored the red flag.
The Star reported that Ruto who was speaking in Machakos on Wednesday July 22, recounted how he openly forewarned the duo that the Hustlers will form the next dispensation but non of them took it serious until they have been caught off-guard.

Ruto argued that they did not heed his advice then and now they are realising this when it’s too late to help themselves.
“When I told them that the 2022 government will be formed by the hustlers, they thought it was a joke. Now, they have found themselves at the wrong side and are busy in the boardrooms seeking partners to form alliances with,” he said.
Over time now, the DP has been crisis-crossing the country in a recruitment drive of youths into his Husler Nation with hopes that this will be his main force in 2022. So far he has been doing well if the recent by-elections is anything to go by.
Ruto has been blaming both Raila and Uhuru Kenyatta for misleading the country into thinking that problems can only be solved through a Referendum which he describes as expensive and unnecessary.
