Thursday, January 11, 2023 -Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has hit out at Kenya Kwanza government for lacking skill to address the rising cost of living.
Taking to his official X platform today Thursday January 11, Mr Musyoka explained how President William Ruto and his administration had failed to deliver their ambitious 2022 campaign manifesto.
Kalonzo noted that the further increament of taxes was not only unacceptable but also a burden to millions of struggling population.
“The 16% increase in tokens by Kenya Power is the latest unacceptable burden on tired, hungry and angry Kenyans.
“This is the clear example of the KK regime’s inability to address the cost of living,” he stated.
According to Kalonzo, time has come to stop the State from further taxing of her citizens.
“They want to leave us in the dark, but I am telling them, know kuna nuru gizani” he added.
The Wiper Party boss was saying this in confirmation of his stand to run for the top seat in 2027.
In an earlier statement, Mr Musyoka had indicated that he will nolonger be a running mate to anyone including Raila Odinga whom he has supported three times.
