Wednesday, January 5, 2022 –Deputy President William Ruto has told off the handshake partners over plans to rig their families in power forever.
Speaking in his recent political rally, the second in command fired an early warning at the two leaders whom he reminded how he helped them take power several times.
That he helped them become what they are today and therefore they cannot now claim he is not fit to lead this country.
“Nilisaidia huyo mtu wa kitendawili akakuwa Prime Minister wakati huo nilikuwa mzuri pia nikasaidia Uhuru Kenyatta akakuwa President. Wakati huo mimi nilikuwa mzuri sasa wanasikia nasaidia maskini wanasema mimi ni mbaya,” Ruto remarked.
The visibly combative Ruto told President Uhuru Kenyatta and the big families in the country that time for people to kneel down for them was up and that this year will be a decisive year in Kenya’s politics.
“Mimi nataka niwaambie hawa wangwana mmetuzoea vibaya. Tulipigia kura baba zenu na tukawapigia magoti.. Ndio hawa nyinyi tunawapigia kura na magoti. Mtajuwa hamjui mwaka huu ndio tutakomesha hii madharau na kiburi yenu. Kenya hii ni yetu sisi wote,” Ruto charged.
The abrasive Ruto also warned that he will not allow any one to interfere with the Constitution so that to leave power to the elites forever.
Ruto has of late been claiming that the ‘Deep State’ was planning to rig him out in the next general election.
