Ichungwah Publicly Reveals Calling Raila, Uhuru to Join Ruto

The National Assembly Majority Leader, Kimani Ichung’wah, has now claimed credit for the existing Ruto-Raila political relationship.

Addressing KTN on Wednesday, the Majority leader claimed he was instrumental in bringing Raila close to President William Ruto.

Ichung’wah stated that he had held candid conversations with the President in both instances and advised him to reach out to the two.

“I don’t even know if I should disclose this. Sometime last year I had a very candid engagement with President William Ruto. Before that, I had a telephone conversation with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and I told President Ruto to reach out to the former Prime Minister,” Ichung’wah stated.

The Kikuyu lawmaker also said he has been talking to both Ruto and Uhuru to embrace brotherhood having been good friends in 2013 upto 2017.
