Interpol, in collaboration with Afripol, arrested 1,006 suspects in 19 African countries during this Operation Serengeti.
The sting operation targeted cybercrimes like ransomware and online scams.
Authorities said the operation is linked to nearly $193 million in financial losses by victims. Arrests included credit card fraud commonly known as Carding in Kenya and a Ponzi scheme in Senegal.
