Tuesday, April 23, 2024 – Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairperson Ahmed Hassan Issac is shortlisted for a top court job.
The ex-IEBC chairman is listed among 41 candidates shortlisted for the position of the Court of Appeal Judge, Kenya.
On Tuesday April 23, Chief Justice Martha Koome, in her position as the Chairperson of the Judicial Service Commission, released the names list of shortlisted candidates after the commission received 82 applications.
Interestingly. among the applicants was immediate former IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati whose name was missing.
Others in the short list are justices Chacha Mwita, Athony Murima, Grace Nzioka, James Wakiaga, and Dalmas Omondi.
Issac Hassan is Wafula Chebukati predecessor.
