Sunday, December 19, 2021 –Jacob Mulee’s elder brother Michael who had been hospitalized in India for a couple of months before returning to Kenya has been confirmed dead.
The Radio Jambo morning show host made the revelation on Sunday December 19 in which he announced the demise of his lovely brother who has been battling a kidney related disease for quite some time now.
According to the ex-Harambee Stars lead Coach, his ailing brother had been transferred to the Nairobi Hospital where he was continuing with treatment after he jetted from India. Unfortunately, in Nairobi he was forced to be admitted in the Intensive Care Unit ICU.
“Mike my brother, you have fought a good fight. May the Lord grant you favour till we meet again. Fare thy well my brother, my friend, my fan, my advisor! God is able,” Mulee said.
Members of the public first learnt about Mulee’s ailing brother in May 2021 when the coach traveled to India to donate a kidney to the kin. This however, was changed after doctors proved to him that the kidney was not very necessary to save the brother’s life.
“My brother had a kidney problem and needed a transplant. We came to India but after doctors analyzed his kidney, they said there’s no need to change it. I was so happy,” he stated in a past interview.
Sadly while in India, Mulee was also diagnosed with a condition called Sleep Apnea which involves breathing with sudden stops. Many people who ail from this disorder are said to stop breathing while a sleep.
Doctors argue that it is not a good condition because, sometimes, victims drown in the sleep never to return again. Though in rare cases.
In March 2021, Mr Mulee also lost her sister Teresia Kalondu Munyui.
