Tuesday, July 20, 2021 -Family of Charles Bukeko aka Papa Shirandula was elated to receive good news from actor Felix Odiwuor or Jalang’o.
On Sunday July 19, all the friends and colleagues of Papa Shirandula converged in a lavish hotel located in Westlands area of Nairobi to pay their 1st tribute to the late actor Charles Bukeko.
And during the anniversary, Dundapost.com reported how emotions filled the air as Jalang’o led the entire crew in assuring the family of Shirandula of their full support. This led to Papa Shirandula’s wife Beatrice Andenga to shed tears infront of visitors as Jalang’o announced how he will make sure her children are at school. He picked on Papa’s youngest daughter Sherry whom he said he will cater for full school upto college.
“From today onwards, Sherry should never worry about her school fees, we will handle it, myself, Otoyo and Njoro. I will give you a cheque to cater for her entire primary school at Moi Educational Centre and even when she joins form one. Never worry about her education because if Papa was alive, he would have catered for that in a good school,” Jalang’o said as quoted by Dundapost.com.
On her part, Papa Shirandula’s wife returned thanks to Jalang’o and the rest for coming to her rescue at the time she least expected it.
“What Jalang’o has done has really made my heart. God is a God of solutions,” she said.
Vetaran actor Papa Shirandula died and was buried last July 2020 at his Busia County rural home.
