Saturday, April 15, 2023 – Lang’ata Member of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o has asked his party leader Raila Odinga to accept a meeting with him.
He made the comments during a live session on TikTok with media personality Andrew Kibe who he informed that he has a close tie with Raila but fears that his men could harm him incase they spot him within their walls.
“I want to be with Baba but cannot approach him unless he calls me, given the Machakos incident that trended, the people around him can beat me up and kill me,” he has said.
He added that the Azimio la Umoja boss needs energetic men around him to continue championing for democracy in Kenya.
Jalang’o went on to affirm his commitment to succeeding Raila in Luo Nyanza and eventually becoming the first Luo president.
“I am still focused on becoming the President one day, the dream is still there, time will tell, and dreams are valid,” he added.
The former Kiss 100 FM presenter booked himself a slot in ODM party’s bad books after he attended a meeting hosted by President William Ruto at State House, Nairobi in February.
This would see Raila and ODM Party supporters put Jalang’o on notice and marked him as a man who is in government and not the opposition.
And during a recent Parliamentary Group Meeting PG held in Machakos County, the youthful legislator was haunted out of the venue with men around Raila.
