Friday, November 4, 2022 –Nation Media Group NMG has effected changes in its top editorial level with Joe Ageyo now taking over the Group Editorial Director position.
In the announcements made on Friday November 4 morning, Mr. Ageyo will now be the director of editorial in the entire media station.
Before this elevation, the media personality was serving in the capacity of the Editorial Director for Broadcasting department at NMG.
Taking over from Mutuma Mathew, the ex-Citizen Tv Editorial editor is seemingly the man to watch as competition among top media houses continues to rage.
“Mutuma Mathiu will support Joe Ageyo on specific editorial projects,” NMG statement read partly.
Mr. Ageyo, left Royal Media’s Citizen Tv in March 2022 where he read news and with fellow anchors formed the popular News Gang panel where they dissected national politics.
In this Friday changes, NMG also named Monica Ndungu to be its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) while Richard Tobiko takes over the Chief Finance Officer desk.
