Friday, May 27, 2022 –Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has today exposed Deputy President William Ruto’s lies over Naivasha Dry Port christened Naivasha inland container depot (ICD)

Today Friday May 27, the firebrand governor reignited the port debate by reminiscing how Deputy President William Ruto attacked him over the opening of inland container depot (ICD).

Playing the past and current videos of William Ruto speaking on the project, Joho today proved how the DP lies from both ends of his mouth.

Starting with the first past clip, Ruto verbally castigated Joho who had tried to stop the opening of Naivasha Dry Port.

Ruto went ahead to claim that only people who never stepped to school can reason that a port could be moved from Mombasa to elsewhere.

His sentiments then were also supported by Mathira Member of Parliament Rigathi Gachagua who also attacked Joho over the claims that the Port was being moved from Mombasa.

But yesterday, Ruto went to Kilifi and, while there, he shocked the country when he mentioned how he will shut down Naivasha Port saying whoever took it to Naivasha was wrong and will be held liable.

“I Will Restore Port Services,” Ruto highlighted benefits of the dry port and how it would open up the North Rift region to investment opportunities.

Kenyans are now up in arms with Ruto’s obsession with lies especially during electioneering period where he promises anything for political expedience.
