Jubilee Party cracks whip against six other lawmakers

Friday, February 12, 2021 -Just a week after Jubilee Party expelled errant senators citing misconduct and disrespect, the party has again cracked the whip on another group.

Jubilee leadership on Thursday February 11 confirmed to the public that it had suspended six other legislators from Nyahururu County Assembly after finding them guilty of disrespect against the party’s rules and regulations. The six will also be required to pay a fine of sh 100,000.

“Jubilee Party has confirmed to have suspended seven Nyandarua MCAs for gross misconduct. They include: Peter Gathungu, Suleiman Kihik, Muchiri Kariuki, Goergina Wanjiru, Esther Nyambura and Margarate Wanjiru,” tweeted blogger Abraham Mutai.

They will also not be allowed to conduct any assembly business for the next six months according to our reliable sources.

This is happening just a day after MCAs in the county impeached their speaker for a second time.

Jubilee party is now on a cleaning spree in their efforts to step up manners ahead of the Referendum and a major coalition which is expected to face off with William Ruto.
