Wednesday, November 17, 2021 –Judge Said Juma Chitembwe is again on the spot following Mike Sonko’s leakage which was dropped today linking the judge to multi-million bribery claims.
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko on Tuesday November 17 released a video evidence showing Chitembwe receiving millions in bribery to manipulate a case. The judge was spotted receiving bags of money.
Due to the expose’, Law Society of Kenya LSK President Nelson Havi has now asked Chief Justice Martha Koome to punish Judge Chitembwe for lack of integrity.
The LSK president also advised the Judiciary Service Commotions JSC to initiate a process of removal of the Judge from the bench.
“I have examined the exposé by Mike Sonko. The Judiciary took him out of office through subterfuge and he is determined to go down with it if JSC does not act.” Havi noted.
He added that this process must be started as early as possible to rid the Judiciary of such characters who are tainting the image of the Court.
