Tuesday, February 22, 2022 –Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed has been put on the spot following a video in which he was recorded shoving a fellow MP’s head during their Azimio rally in Mombasa County.
In the video currently trending online, Junet and Governor Ali Hassan Joho could be seen confronting MP Abdullswamad Nassir during their Sunday February 20 rally.
The video shows a visibly angry Junet pushing Nassir`s head backwards in what is seen to be a disagreement between the two. Governor Joho can also be seen in that group uttering something and being contained not to charge towards Nassir.
Before this scene, more details which surfaced online indicated that Abdullswamad was humiliated by the crowd in Tonoka Mombasa. He would then seek some assistance from Governor Joho who refused to help him.
The viral video showing Junet misbehave in public has seen thousands of Kenyans call upon ODM Party disciplinary committee to take action and if possible expunge him from their campaign team because he is becoming high handed, powerful, cruel and arrogant.
“It’s high time Junet Mohamed get tamed bwana. This guy will cause an irreparable mess in ODM. He is now the self-declared MC in almost all Azimio meetings. Whatever he did to Abdullswamad was wrong and should be condemned by every ODM supporter,” first user noted.
This is not the first time Junet was misbehaving in public, a couple of months ago, the MP was on record warning that once Odinga ascends to power, some regions will have to contend with the fact that power now belongs to Nyanza Region.
