Tuesday, February 21, 2023 -Nairobi Lawyer Danstan Omari has been summoned by the Director of Criminal Investigations DCI boss Amin Mohamed.
Fred Matiang’i’s lawyer told a local channel that he had been called to appear before the DCI over the February 8 claimed night raid at Matiang’i’s Karen residence.
The Lawyer has said he will show up at the DCI as required on Wednesday February 22.
He is required at the offices at exactly 9:30AM for the interrogation exercise.
“I have reasons to believe that you, Danstan Omari, an Advocate of the High court of Kenya, is connected to the offence or has information which can assist me in my investigations.
“With the powers conferred upon me under section 52 (1) of the National Police Service Act No 11A of 2011, hereby compel you; Danstan Omari, an Advocate of the High court of Kenya to appear before me at the Directorate of Criminal Investigation situated along Kiambu Road At Mazingira House on the 22 day of February, 2023 at 09.30 AM without fail,” the DCI summon read partly.
Matiang’i’s home has been the center of attraction in the country as two reported raids still remains unravelled puzzle for every body.
The former CS and his ally Raila Odinga would then describe the twin raids as political intimidation meant to undermine senior citizens in the country just months after Kenya Kwanza took power.
