Kabogo Reacts After Joining Raila’s Kiambu Rally

Thursday, October 21, 2021 –Ex-Kiambu County Governor William Kabogo and a host of other local leaders teamed up with ODM Party leader Raila Odinga during his Thursday evening political tour around their area.

In their rallies, a sea of humanity thronged the streets of Kiambu to support the duo who were also accompanied by the incumbent governor James Nyoro.

Mr. Kabogo hailed Odinga’s steadily increasing support from the mountain, saying today was a great opportunity for his(Kabogo’s) new Tujibebe Wakenya Party which he just launched recently.

“Baba RAO amukuja mtaa wetu nyumbani na nikamkaribisha na pia nikauza sera za Tujibebe wakenya party,” he posted both on Facebook and Twitter handles.

For the past few weeks, the opposition honcho has not been able to settle down; he has instead chose to pitch camp in Central Kenya part of the country by having a series of meetings, tours, and rallies with an aim of popularizing himself around the region.

Strategists also claim Odinga is going to likely pick his running mate from the floppy Mountain so as to increase his chances of beating the DP who is currently ahead in ratings.

Latest polls conducted by a local media channel Kenyans.co.ke revealed that Ruto was still the strongest man to beat in Mt Kenya followed far by Mr. Odinga.

Following the death of the Building Bridges Initiative BBI, Raila opted to switch to the trickle down economic model to compete Ruto’s Bottom Up structure. These two models, though seem to be almost amounting to these same thing, pundits have it that only the marketing strategy will save one over the other.
