Friday, October 18, 2024 –Leaders have continued pouring congratulatory messages at Prof. Kithure Kindiki for his new appointment as Deputy President.
Former Kimabu Governor William Kabogo is among Mt. Kenya bigwigs who took to their X platform to thank the Interior Cabinet Secretary for today’s appointment.
He wished God’s favour on him saying he is upto the task as he had proven this in his service at the Ministry of Interior.
“Congrats, my brother Prof. Kithure Kindiki. May God’s favour be upon you as you start a humongous job. I can only wish you well,” he remarked.
Also, Speaker Moses Wetang’ula took to his X with the same message of congrats just after he had Gazetted the Assembly proceedings.
Meanwhile, a Kerugoya High Court has issued orders blocking Prof. Kindiki from taking office despite nomination.
The matter filed by one, Peter Kamotho, sought orders stopping President William Ruto from swearing-in the new deputy president.
