Wednesday, October 27, 2021 –Pastor who recently hosted Deputy President William Ruto in Kakmega County has passed on.
The High Priests of the African Church of Holly Spirit Mr. Shem Shamalla has reportedly died after a short illness. Church Secretary Bishop Samson Khalwale has made the confirmation.
Background details reveal that the 84 year old man of God has been leading the church for a long period to its current successful status.
The late Shem Shamalla will be laid to rest on Saturday 30, 2021 at Malava Village in Kakamega County.
Elsewhere in Murang’a, in a similar account of events last year, Rev. Stephen Ng’ang’a, Bishop at African Independent Pentecostal Churches of Africa (AIPCA) who hosted DP William Ruto in the chaotic Kenol fundraiser was also reported dead.
There was some confusion on the cause of his death with some sections claiming he was asthmatic while others argued he had been hit by Covid-19 virus.
“We are eulogizing one of our synod member Bishop Stephen Ng’ang’a who was currently serving at Gatanga\Kakuzi Diocese Murang’a. Rest well Bishop,” read a Facebook post on the AIPCA.
He would later be buried in a low key event only attended by close family and few church members.
