He pointed out that since he (Mutua) took over Machakos County office, not a single day had Kalonzo toured the county to inspect or help launch any development project.

“Let me surprise you today. Since I took office I have completed many projects around Machakos County. I have built stadium, roads and hospitals but not a single day has Kalonzo paid me a visit to check what I have done,” Dr. Mutua remarked.

He added that fellow governors around Ukambani also share a similar story and that it was time to force change of leadership in their region.

He also challenged those still supporting Kalonzo to show any single road the Wiper leader had participated in constructing.

He said Raila was much better than Kalonzo during the grand coalition days because the ODM Party leader used to camp in Francis Muthaura’s office for development projects while, on the other hand, Kalonzo who was the Vice President kept quiet for five years.
