Saturday, March 19, 2022 –Today, Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi and President Uhuru Kenyatta spent their time together at the former’s residence in Karen.
Speaking to Homenews.co.ke, Senator Gideon Moi said the former Vice president had hosted them at Karen and together had a leadership chat bordering on the succession arithmetic that could win August 9 polls.
“We are forging a broad-based coalition that will leave no one behind in its quest to build a united and prosperous nation. With President Uhuru Kenyatta at H.E Kalonzo Musyoka’s home,” Gideon said.
Photos then surfaced online showing the three share a meal on Saturday March 19 with President Kenyatta keenly listening to the discussion.
On his part, the Wiper party boss, Kalonzo noted that their discussion was on the pact he recently signed with Azimio la Umoja.
He added that he still believes in a united country and has an unwavering support for the Raila Odinga’s candidature.
“It was my absolute pleasure to host Uhuru at my Nairobi residence. We are Azimio – One Kenya and we will support the Right Honorable former Prime Minister in the forthcoming August General Election,” Kalonzo stated.
Today’s meeting is the first one between the Wiper Democratic Party leader and the president since signing a working deal in Azimio with their ODM Party brothers.
Conspicuously missing was UDP Party leader Cyrus Jirongo who however is a strong advocate for Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja.
